Maria Villares-Varela is a Research Fellow at CREME carrying out research in the field of ethnic minority business and small firms. María is interested in immigration, labour markets and employment relations, with a particular focus on entrepreneurial strategies as a means of social incorporation into host societies, from a gender perspective.
