Heather is a palaeoceanographer who undertakes geochemical analysis of microfossils from marine sediment to reconstruct past ocean conditions. Heather recently published a significant paper in the journal Nature Communications on gender and participation in scientific conferences, based on research about the American Geophysical Union Meeting.
