Professor Grose said: “I am honoured and excited to be taking on the role of Director at Queen Mary’s Global Policy Institute. Having been a part of the leadership team since 2021, I am aware of both the successes, such as the establishment of our Policy Associates programme, as well as the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. Since joining the GPI, Professor Bowen has done a fantastic job by increasing the Institute’s prominence and recognition, through new high-calibre partnerships and projects. Drawing on the strengths of our outstanding leadership team and Advisory Board, I aim to build on these firm foundations and establish the QMGPI as one of the leading interdisciplinary policy institutes in the UK.”
Professor Bowen said: “It has been a great joy to be working with such a dedicated, diverse leadership team and alongside so many talented students from all disciplines and walks of life. I am proud of the milestones we have achieved, and new projects and collaborations initiated over the last two years including teaming up with Cornell, joining the Global Hub Initiative and expanding upon the Brazil Accelerator Fund. I am sure that QMGPI will go from strength to strength under Richard’s leadership.”
