Dr. Sue Onslow is a teaching fellow specialising in Africa (particularly South Africa and Zimbabwe), colonies and colonisation, emigration and immigration; British foreign policy and decolonisation; and the modern Commonwealth. She is a leading oral history practitioner, and has published extensively on Southern Africa in the Cold War era.
She has taught at the London School of Economics and is Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Commonwealth Studies, School of Advanced Study, University of London.
