The School of History is delighted to see continuing improvement in the high overall satisfaction its students is at a record 94%, according to the results of the National Student Survey. This impressive result places the School third in London and fourth amongst Russell Group Universities. The 2014 National Student Survey (NSS) questioned UK undergraduates on various aspects of their student experience, including their overall satisfaction.
The NSS results also show that 97 per cent of students in the School were satisfied with their teaching, noting in particular the success of well-informed teachers in making History interesting.
Professor Miri Rubin, Head of the School of History, welcomed the results: 'As Head of School I am enormously proud of our brilliant historians who excel at turning their research into a rich teaching and learning experience. I am particularly aware of the administrative care - often unseen by students - which produces such successful results. Delighted as we are with these results, we will learn from the NSS how to make the QMUL History experience even more enjoyable'
