Professor Miri Rubin presents at the Heritage Open Days (link is external) in Norwich. Prof Rubin’s lecture explores a unique event in Norwich history: the creation of an anti-Jewish narrative within its Cathedral Priory in the 1150s. This later spread throughout Europe, sometimes with deadly effects even into the twentieth century. The lecture is based on Prof Rubin's book, The Life and Passion of William of Norwich (link is external), which was published in 2014 by Penguin Classics.
