On Monday 2 September 2019, Dr Mark Glancy will give the lecture accompanying the British Film Institute's Cary Grant season of film screenings. His lecture, "Shadows and Light: Alfred Hitchcock and Cary Grant" will explore the personal and professional relationship of the director and the star, and the 4 classic films that they made together: Suspicion (1941), Notorious (1946), To Catch A Thief (1955) and North by Northwest (1959).
