Lecturer in Modern French History, Dr Daniel Lee appeared on BBC Radio 3 last week. Speaking on the 'Free Thinking' programme entitled 'WWII radio propaganda and French relations' Daniel discussed the origins of his upcoming publication The SS Officer's Armchair. The book is due to be released in October 2020.
Daniel also dicussed his research, through personal diaries, into Elvington, Antisemitism and French arimen based in the Yorkshire during the Second World War.
