Professor Maurizio Isabella's soon to be published book, Southern Europe in the Age of Revolutions(Princeton UP, 2023) has been awarded the Fondazione Roma Sapienza Book Prize, from La Sapienza University in Rome. This award was set up for the bicentenary of the Greek Revolution. The book, due in May, examines the historical moment of the 1820s when a series of simultaneous uprisings took the quest for constitutional government to Portugal, Spain, the Italian peninsula, Sicily and Greece.
