Profile

I am the Senior Research Manager in the School of History. I am the key contact for colleagues for queries around research funding and research activities. I work closely with our Directors of Research and Director of Research Funding to support the development of grant applications, budgets, and research strategy for the School. I am also responsible for the administration of the School’s REF submission, including ensuring compliance with open access requirements.
Along with the School’s Research Director team and our Research Officer, Alicia Barnes, I am working to further enhance our research community and ensure that we are in a strong position to apply for upcoming opportunities. I have been at QMUL since January 2020, initially in the School of Law. I was promoted to Senior Research Manager and moved across to the School of History from August 2022. As Senior RM, I manage the research team across the Humanities.  Prior to joining Queen Mary, I held similar Research administration positions at the Universities of Kent and Greenwich. I previously spent four years working in academic publishing, at Oxford University Press and Routledge.
