Project: Impact Evaluation

Client name: Swadhinata Trust

The Swadhinata Trust is a London based secular Bengali community group that works to promote Bengali history and heritage amongst young people. It has been active for over twenty years, but it remains difficult to measure the impact that it makes on stakeholder groups and communities.

In this project, as a team from across different Schools, you will work together to develop an impact evaluation strategy for the Swadhinata Trust.

Application process and key dates :

Stage 1: Online application - deadline is Friday 4 October
Stage 2: Shortlisting and selection 
Stage 3: Application outcome notification by Friday 11 October 

Programme duration: Monday 21 October 2024 to Friday 13 December 2024 

You must complete a pre and post-project survey, which includes writing a short reflective review of up to 300 words, to receive certification.  


Eligibility:

  • Current Queen Mary students 
  • Highly motivated and teamwork oriented 
  • Passionate about heritage and making a real impact in the world 
  • Willing to dedicate a total of 15 hours across the project, including client meetings, teamwork, and individual work.
