MySafety
The MySafety online health and safety management system is accessible to all staff through the HSD website and on the front page of Connected.
Please note you may have trouble accessing MySafety through Firefox and some versions of Internet Explorer. If this is the case, please try Chrome, Edge or Safari.
The system contains four key modules; incident reporting, workstation (DSE) assessments, risk assessment and audit and inspection. The system also contains management tools such as action tracking and a data report feature, which you may be required to use if you have specific health and safety responsibilities.
Information and guidance notes are available below, however, if you require assistance beyond this, please do not hesitate to contact the H&S Manager / Advisor for your Faculty / PS

Anyone can report an incident (staff, student or visitor) using the MySafety Reporting Form.

All staff should complete their workstation assessment online.
If issues are raised as part of your assessment, your H&S Manager / Advisor for your Faculty / PS will contact you to follow up and make relevant recommendations.

A range of H&S audit and inspection templates are available for laboratories, offices, workshops and other specialist topics.
The inspection templates are also available in word format, for those who wish to use them offline.
