Workstation (DSE) Assessment - HS009
If workers use display screen equipment (DSE) daily, as part of their normal work, continuously for an hour or more, a workstation assessment must be carried out. Generally you must complete a DSE assessment every three years, but you can do it sooner if you are hot-desking, moving desks/office, if your workstation set up changes considerably or if you experience any changes e.g. pregnancy, change in eyesight or suffer an injury.
All staff members on payroll will receive an email from alert@qmul.oshens.com requesting them to complete their workstation assessment. Please check junk / clutter boxes for the email as it is from an external email address.
If you have not received the email you can request an assessment by:
- Visiting MySafety and clicking ‘Network Login’
- Login using your QMUL credentials (e.g. abc123@qmul.ac.uk)
- Click ‘request one’ under ‘MyDSE Assessments’
