Professor Penny Green is leading the International State Crime Initiative (ISCI) researching one of the world’s most pressing crises: the Rohingya genocide.
Professor Penny Green talks through the horrors of the Burmese persecution of the Rohingya minority. As Director of International State Crime Initiative (ISCI), she researched the extent of the situation and explored whether it could be classed as ‘genocide’.
After vising camps and seeing the destitution and demoralisation, her work continues to help define world views on the Burmese government, and help to put pressure on key figures to address the crimes being committed.
