We hope that by sharing these role model profiles, we can help increase the visibility of our LGBTQ+ community at Queen Mary and their diverse experiences and perspectives.
Visibility means different things to different people, and there is no one way of being visible, but all visibility makes a difference. It's important for our LGBTQ+ community and young people to see other people like them in society so that they feel represented, safe and free to be their authenic selves.
If you would like to volunteer as a LGBTQ+ role model and create a role model profile please contact George Lonergan (g.lonergan@qmul.ac.uk).
Requests to remove your role model profile can be made at any time by contacting hr-equality@qmul.ac.uk
