Apprenticeship Programmes

The Apprenticeship Levy funds can only be spent on training via approved apprenticeship programmes, or 'standards’, which are delivered by approved training providers.

There are over 650 possible apprenticeship standards available. They can be found on the Institute for Apprenticeships webpage.

You can search by keyword or browse by 'route’ or 'level'.

How do I know if an apprenticeship standard is relevant to my role?

Each apprenticeship standard will detail the role overview and the Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviours (KSBs) that the apprentice will need to be able to learn, and evidence competency in, by the end of the apprenticeship duration.

The Staff Apprenticeship Team will be able to support you to decide which apprenticeship standard is most suitable.

Across Queen Mary, we have made use of over 30 different apprenticeship standards, including Coaching Professional, Data Analyst, Operations Manager, and Laboratory Technician to name a few. For more information on these and the other apprenticeship standards we've used, visit the CPD Training Apprenticeships page.
