Profile

As Governance Administrator I provide administrative support for all fitness to practice casework across the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry, assisting the Professional Capability Committee.  I run the annual declaration and disclosure process for all MBBS and Physician Associate students.  I deputise for the Governance Manager in providing regulatory advice and dealing with casework.

Within Governance we ensure that our students recognise that they are studying to join a trusted profession and that they must demonstrate a high standard of behaviour while achieving good medical practice. My role encompasses working closely with both staff and students, meaning priorities can quickly change and no two days are the same. I thoroughly enjoy working with colleagues across the faculty and wider Queen Mary to ensure our students are equipped to become excellent Doctors, Dentists, Physician Associates or Dental Hygienists.
