As part of the ongoing development of the Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences (IHSS), the Faculty was funding and supporting four Research Programmes to bring together researchers across IHSS and beyond in 2022 - 24. These programmes developed research communities through symposia, seminars, funding opportunities, grant writing and more.
The two Working Groups were interdisciplinary groups that brought unique humanities and social sciences expertise on a particular subject. The Working group on COVID-19 worked from June 2020 to February 2021, and the Climate Emergency group was active from January 2022 to December 2023.
