Part of the Life after Lockdown seminar series
What will be the longer-term impacts of the unprecedented global shutdown for workers and employers? How are different types of organisations, including universities, likely to be effected by the enforced mass-transition to home-working? What of labour customs and expectations around social assistance, work-life balance, and economic obligation are likely to outlive this unprecedented social experiment? What new social and power relations are likely to emerge in its wake (including for workers who might have become more visibly essential to our lives in this crisis)?
