Between 8 March 2017 and 22 November 2018, 13 lectures by scholars with experience of doing comparative research took place at the School of Law of Queen Mary University of London at its Mile End campus. The lecturers and participants in the series had the opportunity to write a chapter for this volume. The volume includes contributions on comparative history, anthropology, law, sociology, philosophy, political science, and religious studies.
This panel discussion on comparative methods took place between Prof Maurice Adams, Tilburg Law School, Prof Mark Van Hoecke, Queen Mary University of London, Prof Ralph Weber, University of Basel, Prof Greta Olson, University of Giessen and Prof Paula Giliker, University of Bristol. The event was chaired by Prof. Simon Reid-Henry, Director of the Institute for the Humanities and Social Sciences at Queen Mary.
