My name is Zlatina Jekova and I am from Sofia, Bulgaria. I have graduated from Queen Mary University of London in summer 2014 with a BA in International Relations.
My time at Queen Mary University of London has been one of the most rewarding and memorable periods in my life. I have met amazing people, developed various skills and benefited greatly from everything that London has to offer. As a Queen Mary graduate I am proud to say that I have a diploma from one of the top universities in the world. I have been taught by lecturers who are the most qualified and skilful in their field and who share their knowledge with a real passion. The excellent teaching provided and the enthusiasm of my fellow students have kept me motivated throughout my studies and have further increased my interest in International Relations.
As a student coming from abroad it was important for me to know that I can get support if needed. During my time at Queen Mary I was impressed by the excellent services that the University provides and the great support offered by the staff. Both the academic and administrative staff are always ready to help students.
Queen Mary is an excellent University, not only due its high quality of academia and services, but also because it is based in one of the world’s most vibrant and multicultural cities. Queen Mary attracts students from very diverse backgrounds, making it one of the most international Universities in the world. Its diversity gives you the opportunity to enrich your culture and meet a range of new people. The students’ community is very welcoming, which makes you feel at home soon after you join the University. The fact that Queen Mary has such a large and contained campus further enriches the students’ experience. The university has a well-organized Students Union which runs vast range of activities, events and clubs, suitable for all types of interests and hobbies.
As a QMUL graduate I highly recommend the University to all Bulgarian students.
Please feel free to contact me at any time if you have any queries about International Relations course, campus life, student activities or any other questions!
