BSc Business Management
"In order to improve my English level and knowledge of management, I came to Queen Mary and started the BSc Business Management course in 2008. Now I think I made a good decision because I have learnt a lot here. Living on the campus, I have made a lot of friends who are from different countries. We went to lectures together and chat at coffee shops on campus during the study period. I think my English has improved by doing all these. I quite enjoy the study life here. The environment on campus is super beautiful in my opinion. I always run and relax nearby the river and there is a new gym on campus, all facilities are amazing to help people keep fit here…"Ivy Tong

"I chose Queen Mary because the campus is based near the heart of London, which means I can study and not miss out on all the fun!
Being campus-based means that I get to meet people from many different departments. Also we have shops, banks, restaurants…everything you need is only two steps away. The most important thing is that, in east London, everything is cheaper- that’s one of the biggest problems in student life solved!
I have always enjoyed studying maths and solving problems in different ways, and at Queen Mary the lecturers are happy to have discussions and push me in the right direction when I struggle. The best thing about studying at Queen Mary is that it has an encouraging and supportive environment.
I enjoy doing my course work in the Learning Resource Centre with my mates, as we can talk about ideas as well as chatting about subjects totally unrelated – it's less pressured than working somewhere like the library.
Last summer, I was working as a student ambassador. My job involves meeting with potential Queen Mary students and telling them about Beijing a University student. I also had a chance of meeting former London Mayor Ken Livingstone and ask him questions about the Olympics!"
Queen Mary offers a wide range of scholarship schemes to international students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
