Undergraduate
Students that have successfully completed A-Levels, the European Baccalaureate, or the International Baccalaureate will be considered for admissions to our undergraduate degrees.
Please check the grade requirements for your chosen degree programme via the undergraduate study section of our website.
Students who have completed the Thai education system (Mathayom Suksa 6) will need to complete a recognised foundation programme in order to enter the first year of a bachelors degree programme.

Hi there! My name is Akaraporn Kulvijit. I graduated from Queen Mary (School of Arbitration at the Centre for Commercial Law Studies (CCLS)) in 2012 with a LL.M. Degree. I now live in Bangkok, Thailand and currently work as a lawyer in an international law firm. Studying in Queen Mary did not only provide me with a wide range of taught modules which would meet any student's satisfaction, but also with many excellent lectures, given by the experts in a specific area of law. Such lectures genuinely contain real-life examples which is something you will not find in a textbook.
As for the life in London, QMUL Student Village at Mile End campus offers a real sense of student life, even for postgraduate students. There are many facilities, including a reasonably priced accommodation, sport club, students union, cafeterias, and a library. From an overseas students' perspective, at least in my view, this makes living in London easier and more fascinating. At Mile End campus, one can enjoy many extracurricular activities--social events, sports events, or English classes for overseas students. For example, I participated in the QM badminton club and became a team member, playing against other badminton teams in London. This enabled me to gain multicultural experience as well as good friendships during my stay. If you are looking to study in London, QMUL is an ideal option. "I really enjoyed spending my time as a master of law student at QMUL. Queen Mary School of Law is a special place for “complex and esoteric knowledge” where a wide range of study modules are offered for students, so whatever students want to learn, they can find the modules that suit their purpose here. Owing to the variety of modules, I can design my study to respond to my future career. I am a Royal Thai Government with a commitment to work as a legal officer in Department of Corrections, Ministry of Justice. My aim to pursue a master degree in law was to provide myself with the perspective and theory about punishment and prison and to explore the views of law towards criminal justice system and how the development and recent state of the international criminal law is. I chose to study at Queen Mary School of Law because its courses provide students substantive gain of synthesis data on nearly every issue of criminal justice sharpening the students to get ready to apply the knowledge in their future career. All modules I chose were well taught by most specialized experts and professors who guided me to be a skilful lawyer contributing to improving Thai criminal procedure.

"Before studying LLM at Queen Mary I was an in-house lawyer practicing corporate and financial law area in a public company in Thailand. I decided to expand my knowledge in banking and finance law. After much research a lot of information about LLM in Banking and Finance from several universities, I found that Queen Mary is an outstanding university that provides a wide range of modules in this field. Including the world class reputation, I had no hesitation to go for the LLM at Queen Mary.
While I studied the LLM, I did enjoy the Legal Aspects of International Finance. This subject is very useful and practical to your career as a lawyer in financial law area. Lecturers come from various top leading legal firms in London including remarkable professors in this field. Contents and method of teaching are excellent. We have tutorial and revision classes for catching up the points that you not understand. I have now returned to Thailand and am working in the Financial Service Practice Group as a lawyer with Baker & McKenzie. Most of my work involves major project financing and regulations for the energy sector. I have to thank Professor Walker for giving me very good lectures in Legal Aspects of International Finance as everything can be used in the real world!"
