The International Foundation Year in Humanities and Social Sciences offers progression onto more than 50 undergraduate degree programmes in the following subject areas:

If your high school qualification is one which is accepted for direct entry onto LLB Law, but you do not meet the direct entry requirements, you would not normally be considered for the International Foundation Year (Law) pathway.
Examples of these qualifications include:
If you have taken a qualification which is accepted for direct entry, and meet the minimum entry requirements (A*AA or equivalent) then your application for the IFY (Law) pathway can be considered.

You can start your International Foundation Year in either September or January. You will choose your modules based on which degree you want to study after the IFY.

The size of your classes will vary depending on the modules you are studying.
In English Language and Study Skills, you will be taught in classes of no more than 18 students.
Seminars generally have a maximum of 25 students whilst there is no fixed limit on the number of students in lectures.
