How to apply

Students who have successfully completed A-Levels or the International Baccalaureate will be considered for direct entry onto our undergraduate degrees. We may also consider recognised Foundation qualifications. For individual grade requirements for particular degree programmes please refer to the undergraduate study section of this website. 

We also consider students from Italy with the following qualifications:

  • Diploma Di Esame Di Stato from a General High School

Undergraduate Medicine and Dentistry admissions

For more detailed information on Medicine and Dentistry requirements and how to apply please refer to the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry section of our website. 

Please note, the Esame di Stato is not accepted for admission to our MBBS or BDS programmes that are delivered in London (but it is accepted for all other undergraduate programmes delivered in London). However, the Esame di Stato is accepted for our MBBS programme delivered in the Republic of Malta.

We normally consider the following qualifications for entry to our postgraduate taught programmes: Laurea (180 ECTS credits) from a recognised institution.

UK 1st class degree: 110 out of 110
UK 2:1 degree: 105 out of 110
UK 2:2 degree: 94 out of 110
