Change Advisory Board

The Change Advisory Board (CAB) advises the Change Manager in the assessment, prioritisation and scheduling of significant, major and major plus change requests, these changes are likely to have medium to high priority, risk and/ or impact. The group is the change authority for IT Services and provides advice and guidance. It obtains its technical advice from technical experts who understand the technical nature of the changes proposed. Typically these are managers or team leaders of the areas plus external consultants or third parties employed to carry out the change.

This group meets weekly:

• Change, Release and Deployment Manager – Chair
• Heads of Services – relevant to change
• Managers – relevant to the change request
• Team members – relevant to change request
