Email and Calendar

We supply all students and staff with an email address which is the address that Queen Mary will normally use to communicate with you. Our email and calendar service is provided by Microsoft 365, which offers 50GB of mail storage, Queen Mary wide shared calendaring system, and access from mobile devices.

You can read and send email through the webmail client at https://mail.qmul.ac.uk but we recommend setting up your computer, tablet or phone to connect to the email service. Managed MS Windows computers supplied by IT Services will automatically connect your MS Outlook client to our email service.

Requirements: Users of the service must be current students or staff

Requesting the service: Student email accounts are automatically created during the application/enrolment process. Details of their Queen Mary IT account, including an email address, will be sent to the student's personal email address prior to the start of their course.

Staff accounts are created on receipt of a request from a Line Manager
