Print Credit (QM iPay)
- Service Group: Help, Support, and Policy Service
- Users: Staff, Students
Service Description
IT Services have implemented a central print service for staff and students at Queen Mary. Single devices will deliver an efficient and high-quality print, copy, scan, and fax solution.
The primary advantage of the new service to users is pull printing. Pull printing holds your print on the server until released at the printer you wish to use. Your print job is released by holding your id card over the card reader on the printer, providing a more secure print service.
The new print management software will produce reports on usage, by individual and Department, which will be used to recharge Departments. Students will continue to pay for printing via online top ups.
