Description
We offer and support the following applications by Adobe Systems.
Please note that these applications are approved to be run on QMUL provided desktops and laptops. Departments need to pay for the licence fees as per below table
Creative Cloud (CC) - This is an annual subscription model and gives access to the latest version of Adobe Creative Cloud software. We have an annual agreement (with a single renewal date - 12th April) with any purchases made throughout the year added on a pro-rata basis. As the name suggests these are the creative software titles available from Adobe and a subscription method is the only way to purchase the rights to use this software.
The software can be purchased for either named user(s) or for a device.
Licence terms & conditions governing the use of Adobe CC applications
Adobe Creative Cloud (CC) Applications Named User licence: Assigned to an individual, for the sole use of that individual - maybe installed on any 2 devices (by or for said individual), regardless of who owns the devices.
Adobe Creative Cloud (CC) Applications Device licence: Assigned to a device only, for use by any number of individuals – may be installed on 1 QMUL device only – No home use rights.
All named users will automatically receive notification prior to the software renewal date, giving them the opportunity to renew for a further 12 month period. For device licences, the person designated on the order request will receive the renewal notification.
Licences can be bought for single CC applications or the complete CC application suite.
Note: If purchasing more than one application it is cheaper to purchase the full CC suite.

| Adobe Premiere Pro CC Timeline-based video editing software application. It is part of the Adobe Creative Cloud, which includes video editing, graphic design, and web development programs. |
| After Effects CC Digital motion graphics, visual effects and compositing app used in the post-production process of filmmaking and television production. After Effects can also be used as a basic non-linear editor and a media transcoder. |

Dreamweaver CC Web design and development application that provides a visual WYSIWYG editor (colloquially referred to as the Design view) and a code editor with standard features such as syntax highlighting, code completion, and code collapsing as well as more sophisticated features such as real-time syntax checking and code introspection for generating code hints to assist the user in writing code.

| InCopy CC Professional word processor which integrates with Adobe InDesign. InDesign is used to publish printed material, including newspapers and magazines, whereas InCopy is used for general word processing. |
| InDesign CC Desktop publishing software which can be used to create works such as posters, flyers, brochures, magazines, newspapers and books. InDesign can also publish content suitable for tablet devices in conjunction with Adobe Digital Publishing Suite. |

Licence terms & conditions governing the use of Adobe Acrobat DC
Adobe Acrobat DC Perpetual licence: A) Can be assigned to an individual and installed on 1 QMUL device for the sole use of that individual - may also be installed on a personal device, for home use (work purposes only).
B) Can be installed on 1 QMUL device for use by any number of individuals – in this case home use rights are forfeited – Note: an Adobe registration username and password is still required to install the software in this instance.
