Eduroam (education roaming) is the secure, world-wide roaming access service developed for the international research and education community.Eduroam is an authentication service and we authenticate people form QMUL and other universities. Students can access our network either wireless or wired if in halls. This is the same for visiting academics with accounts at other institutions who are part of the Eduroam services, i.e. they can also access our network from the Eduroam Wi-Fi or from the wired ports in the halls.
Eduroam allows students, researchers and staff from participating institutions to obtain Internet connectivity across campus and when visiting other participating institutions by simply opening their wireless device.
Wi-Fi is not provided in all areas of the college. Coverage is targeted at teaching areas and communal areas such as the Library and most Halls.
Please see our Self-help section for more information.
Wi-Fi - Eduroam related requests should be made 5 working days in advance.
There is no cost to the user for this service, but it is a role based service so will need local approval prior to requesting access.
