Apps anywhere

Our 'Appsanywhere' service allows you to access some of Queen Mary's specialised apps when away from your department or campus. It is available to both staff and students and there are a few ways to access it. 

How to access Appsanywhere as a student or an academic 

You can either access Appsanywhere through your web browser, by clicking on the following link. You could also download the service on your device: 

Please note that you will be prompted to use Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). You can find more information about MFA on the following page.

Additional IT recommendations and guidance 

Once launched, you will need to go on the ribbon, position on the left-hand side, and click on Apps. The icon looks like a little Rubik’s Cube. Once selected, you will be able to view the full list of available apps. The process will look like this.

Note: Upon first opening, the app will take some time to open, subsequent launches will be faster.

Once you launch the app you will see a Welcome screen, explaining the purpose and function of the app. Press Next if you want to learn more - this is particularly useful for first-time users, or Skip if you feel confident using the app -recommended if you have used the service before.
