When using a Macbook, or something similar, you may find that you are having difficulties connecting to eduroam after your password has changed. You can try the following instructions to see if you can reconnect.
1. Select Open Network Preferences under the WiFi options
2. Select Advanced... If you are unable to see AirPort it may read Wi-Fi instead. Select eduroam then the minus button. It is also best to remove QM Guest, setup-eduroam and QM Events if it is present.
3. Select the 802.1X tab and then select each profile named eduroam or setup-eduroam and delete it using the minus sign.
4. Search for NetworkSupport, there should be a certificate with the name: NetworkSupportRootCA, delete it. Carry out a search for: Radius, eduroam and qmul
5. Select eduroam under Wi-Fi options. You should be prompted to enter in the username and password. Once this has been done you will get a Verify Certificate dialogue box. Select Continue to accept the certificate.
