The 38th Annual Joint Symposium of Arbitrators of the Queen Mary University of London School of International Arbitration and the ICC Institute of World Business Law took place in Paris on 16 May 2023. This year, our renowned speakers focussed on the topic "Ideas to improve the international arbitration process".

In order to respond to criticisms from users, the international arbitration community has used its collective imagination to create new tools and solutions aimed at improving the international arbitral process and enhancing its efficiency. On the occasion of the Annual Joint Symposium, authors of these tools and solutions discussed with other arbitration practitioners the rationale and purpose of those improvements.
