Join us for an insightful webinar where we delve into the recently published study for the European Parliament's subcommittee on Human Rights (DROI) exploring measures to enhance the support and access for Human Rights Defenders (HRDs) to the European Union (EU): Enhancing the protection of human rights defenders (HRDs): Facilitating access to the EU and supporting HRDs from third countries, PE 754.445 (European Parliament, January 2024).

This webinar aims to bring together academics working on asylum and immigration, NGOs, policy makers, human rights defenders and activists to discuss and analyse the proposed measures outlined in the study, which address key facets such as visa regulations, legal migration frameworks, socio-economic assistance, and the impact of digitalisation on HRDs.
