The Fourth Alumni Conference of the School of International Arbitration is on 'Containing the Beast: Can New Forms of Arbitration and the Implementation of New Technology Keep Arbitration Costs under Control and Lead to More Efficient Dispute Resolution?'. This event is organised by the Alumni and Friends of the School of International Arbitration (AFSIA), and kindly hosted and sponsored by Herbert Smith Freehills LLP.
This Conference seeks to provide arbitration practitioners with the tools for conducting and managing arbitrations cost-effectively and efficiently.
Practicing lawyers, in-house counsel, arbitrators and other dispute resolution services practitioners, academics and professionals involved and/or interested in obtaining further knowledge and keep up to date on recent trends in reducing time and costs in arbitration, including institutional efforts and the use of technology.
The Conference is open to alumni of the School of International Arbitration and arbitration practitioners alike.
The Conference will be followed by a Networking Drinks Reception from 5.30 pm onwards. Access to the reception may be booked separately free of charge through the e-shop.
