The Politics of Ecocide

Hosted by the Centre for Climate Crime and Climate Justice.

This event will explore current proposals and wider possibilities for reforming the law to take account of ‘ecocide’. The first part of the session will report findings of a research project that explore the realities of implementing an international crime of ecocide. The second part will explore how those proposals might be broadened to seek social transformations that are sustainable.
