Keith Warburton, founder of Global Business Culture, will deliver a workshop on Working in the Global Legal Environment - The Cultural Perspective.
Keith is an internationally recognised expert on the impact that cross-border cultural differences and global communication issues can have on global corporate effectiveness. He works with many of the world’s largest companies - from Clifford Chance and Norton Rose to J P Morgan and ExxonMobil – so we are lucky to have him here on campus.
Today’s lawyers are increasingly required to work in complex cross-border environments where international cultural differences can have a significant impact on how effectively they are able to service client needs. These cultural issues can impact on every aspect of cross-jurisdictional work and it is, therefore, imperative that lawyers develop very high levels of cultural fluency.
Do you understand the motivations and work-styles of clients in other jurisdictions? Do you know how your approach might be viewed through their eyes? How can you improve your levels of cultural knowledge to allow you to operate more effectively in cross-border situations?
This interactive session will enable you to work on this topic with Keith Warburton, who is an internationally recognised expert in the field.
