As part of a research project commissioned by the European Space Agency - Building Trust in the Digital Economy, the research team from ARGANS and CCLS, Queen Mary University, ran a one-day virtual workshop in July to present the preliminary findings of the technical and legal analysis, survey and focused interviews to the relevant stakeholders and further provide an opportunity to engage and discuss these findings in a series of panel discussions and breakout room sessions. The workshop generated a lot of engagement and number of new important insights into business needs from across the EO industry. The active participation of cloud providers, blockchain and legal experts resulted in a clearly stated requirements as well as gaps in the existing infrastructure. The findings and recommendations will be included in the final report due March 2021.
