The Law Department has been successful in its joint AHRC bid with Queen Mary colleagues from the Department of Geography and the School of Business and Management for a two year award to set up a Research Network on Promoting Equality and Diversity Through Economic Crisis.
The aim of the Network is to advance understanding of the effects of the economic downturn on equality and diversity policies across places, sectors, and social groups; and of the possibilities for resisting negative outcomes and effecting positive change.
