Queen Mary Law Professor Eric Heinze will be one of the speakers for a discussion on the role and responsibility of the media and journalists when covering the recent rise of extremist movements and hate speech, such as in Greece, Hungary and the Netherlands. 25 senior newsroom editors from Italy, the UK, Spain, Bulgaria, Latvia and Lithuania will be invited to join and discuss their experiences at this meeting in Cagliari, Sardinia from 24 to 26 October.
