Professor Peter Drahos’ A Philosophy of Intellectual Property, published in 1996 by Dartmouth Publishing Co Ltd, has been translated into Persian. The book, already available in English, Japanese, Chinese and Spanish has now been translated by Dr Hekmatnia, Associate Professor of the Islamic Research Institute for Culture and Thought in Iran.
Drawing on Locke, Hegel and Marx, this 1996 book attempts to address the question: Can we accommodate intellectual property within one or more of the existing general accounts of property, or should we develop a distinctive theory of intellectual property?
