Professor Rodrigo Olivares-Caminal was interviewed by the Greek media on the new Banking Recovery and Resolution Directive in view of the ongoing sovereign and banking crisis in Greece. Professor Olivares-Caminal explained the main features of the Directive, how a bail-in operates and analysed the possibility of imposing a 'haircut' to depositors.
