LLM in Immigration Law Student Representatives organise trip to Geneva

Published:

The student representatives of the LLM in Immigration Law have organised a trip to Geneva to visit the international institutions related to human rights and immigration law, 14-18 June. In total there will be 22 students going from the LLM in Human Rights Law, LLM in Public International Law and LLM in Immigration Law programmes.

The trip offers a unique inside look at various organisations including the UN, UNHCR, International Red Cross Committee, International Organisation for Migration, International Labour Organisation and the International Commission of Jurists. The students will also attend the annual NGO conference of UNHCR. Legal advisors and experts in the field will provide the group a talk on a variety of topics about the work of the organisations and the challenges the organisations are currently facing.

This experience will give students interesting new networking opportunities and equip them with vital information for possible career options, all whilst exploring the beautiful city of Geneva.

  • Please note, all places for the study trip have been filled.
