Eric Heinze, Professor of Law and Humanities at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL), presented at a workshop on 'Countering Violent Extremism' hosted by the University of Leeds, 2 March. The focus of the workshop was on what can be learned from the prevention of terrorism through attempts to counter violent extremism within the UK and the lessons it may present for other parts of the world which wish to engage in countering violent extremism (CVE).
