From setting up English classes on campus to teaming up with local organisations, The Guardian details how students can help refugees and features the two open days recently held at QMUL to help asylum seekers and refugees with legal advice. Niovi Vavoula, a PhD law student who organised the open days said: "If you can get an organisation that is helping refugees on board, that would be very helpful, because the difficult part, apart from finding people who are willing to speak at these events, is to promote the events".
