Professor Geraldine Van Bueren QC from Queen Mary’s School of Law is set to work on a new children’s book with Hollywood star Angelina Jolie and Amnesty International.
The themes of the book will be based on the UN Convention of the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). The rights outlined in the UNCRC will be illustrated by various professionals from around the world along with short stories. These will be curated by the Amnesty and Jolie along with Geraldine Van Bueren QC, who is one of the first drafters of the UNCRC. Jolie will also write the foreword, reports The Bookseller.
