Time: 10:00am - 5:00pm Venue: Room 2.1, Centre for Commercial Law Studies (CCLS), 67-69 Lincoln's Inn Fields, London, WC2A 3JB
We are delighted to announce that the New Criminal Justice Centre is co-hosting an event with University of Sussex at the Centre for Commercial Law Studies, Queen Mary University of London.
There is currently extensive debates about targeting criminal assets, and the legal measures available to do so. Often glossed over, however, in discussions about proceeds of crime are non-criminal law-focused measures, such as civil recovery. This workshop is intended to bring together in discussion practitioners, policymakers and academics to consider alternative perspectives and the lived reality of targeting proceeds of crime.
This will then be followed by a drinks reception at 5.15pm in Room 3.1 on the 3rd Floor at CCLS.
