This is two places higher than last year, our highest ranking yet.

The QS World University Rankings by Subject are compiled annually to help prospective students identify the leading universities in a particular subject. Research citations, along with the results of major global surveys of employers and academics are used to rank universities.

Professor Penny Green, Head of the Department of Law, said: "The latest QS rankings position the Queen Mary Law School as one of the most outstanding law schools in the world. It is gratifying to see the excellence of our teaching and research reflected on the global stage. Our ranking is also a very clear reflection of the superb quality of both our academic and professional services colleagues".
