Dr John Adenitire, Strategic Lecturer in Law at Queen Mary University of London, was a specialist panellist at the seminar, along with Dr Anne Fornerod (CNRS-University of Strasbourg). Dr Prakash Shah, Reader in Culture and Law at Queen Mary, chaired the event.
Why Religious Freedom Matters For Democracy: Comparative Reflections from Britain and France for a Democratic “Vivre Ensemble” is published by Hart. It addresses the interaction and tensions between law and religion in a comparative perspective. It also examines the interactions between human rights, constitutional law and normative conceptions of democracy and liberalism.
