Her academic research focuses on environmental law and children’s rights. Her monograph “Children and the Environment: Pathways to Legal Protection” was published in 2022. Her research interests, also, include climate change law, the right to health, indigenous people’s rights, intergenerational equity, and refugee law. She is the LLM course convenor for Climate Change Law and the International Law of the Sea at Queen Mary University London. Moreover, she is an advocate, member of the Athens Bar Association, with practice experience in refugee law, administrative law, and environmental law. Angeliki has collaborated with organisations, institutions, and governments, in relation to the protection of the environment and children’s rights, such as the Greek Council for Refugees and One Ocean Hub and has participated in the effort of the UNCRC Committee to draft the forthcoming General Comment on Children’s Rights and the Environment (no.26).
